Price competition is the biggest challenge

    [HC Gift Crafts Network] a toys and games for the national survey of exporters around thirty percent of respondents said that price competition is the biggest challenge facing, over half of respondents exporters are planning to improve the production and operation efficiency or broaden the range of products to enhance market competitiveness.

    The leading B2B media group by the global resources covered by the survey of 34 major domestic manufacturers of toys and games involving the 159 most popular export products in overseas markets. Statistics show that these 34 manufacturers, 53% came from Guangdong, 16% from Zhejiang, Jiangsu 6% from the current three provinces toy exports which account for about 90%.

    The survey, 29% of respondents said the biggest challenge facing price competition, respectively, 26%, 15% of the respondents believed that more stringent overseas product standards and product design experience or pirated copy of their biggest challenge, and another 12%, 9% and 9% of the respondents believed that rising raw material costs, labor costs, the RMB exchange rate is the greatest challenge.

    Despite so many challenges, the majority of exporters surveyed for this year's export growth is still very optimistic. Survey data show that 59% of respondents expect 2010 sales to grow 10% and 26% of respondents expect sales growth of less than 10%.

    The survey also revealed that more than 50% of respondents to the supplier is planning to improve production and operational efficiency, while 21% of respondents plan to widen our product range of suppliers, to enhance competitiveness in the market. Other suppliers, plans to provide more staff training, and to take more effective measures to help businesses reduce production costs, shorten the design cycle.
